The latest Corona relaxations have a positive impact on Swiss tourism – since 08 June 2020, mountain excursions, panoramic train and boat rides have been largely possible again. At this point, we would like to inform you about the changes to the Swiss Travel System tickets as of 2021.

Prices & area of validity as of 2021.


Already today we would like to inform you about the changes in the Swiss Travel System product range as of 01 January 2021. The following changes were decided by the responsible public transport committees:

Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Travel Pass Flex

1. Introduction of seasonal prices

  • For travel in the winter half-year from 01 January to 30 April 2021 and from 01 November to 31 December 2021, prices will remain at the current level.
  • In the summer half-year from 01 May to 31 October 2021, prices will be increased by an average of 10%.
  • The first day of validity is relevant for the price determination.
2. Change in the area of validity
  • The line of the French National Railways SNCF, between Le Châtelard Frontière and Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, is no longer included.
Swiss Half Fare Card and Swiss Family Card
Prices and benefits of the popular Swiss Half Fare Card and the Swiss Family Card will remain unchanged for 2021.
