Glacier Express.
Here we go again!
On 08 May 2021, the Glacier Express is starting into its long-looked-for new season; only with the regular trains 902 and 903 in a first step and without the Excellence Class coaches. Take-away service is on offer on the train.

Treno Gottardo.
Since April directly to Locarno.

The newly introduced Treno Gottardo takes guests to the Ticino via the Gotthard panorama route – alternating hourly from Zurich, Lucerne and Basel. To Locarno now in one go – without changing transportation.

Preparations for the new season on the Stanserhorn.

 

Some mountain railways climb uphill all year round; others go into hibernation. Slowly but surely, all of them reawaken and get ready for the 2021 season. The team of the Stanserhorn cableway shows in a humorous way what that entails.

All premium panoramic trains are rolling!

With the Gotthard Panorama Express having resumed its operation on 01 May and the restart of the Glacier Express tomorrow, all Swiss premium panoramic trains are now “back on track”. As always, please consult our website to find out everything you need to know about hygiene measures and what restrictions might still have to be expected on Swiss public transport.
